BEYOND BORDERS ACT 3

FEBRUARY 12 - MARCH 12, 2021

These artists allow a dialogue between the spectator and themselves and the varying introspections of the notion of borders and territory.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

This festival, consisting as its name suggests in a “celebration of visual artists from Europe to the Middle East”, will take place in January and February 2021. The exhibition program is sequenced in several acts - always around this Franco-Lebanese artistic culture -, whose third act highlights works by Les soeurs Siamoises, Jean-Marc Nahas, Ryan Eids, Eid, Jean Robert Alcindor, and AM Shar.

The Siamese sisters who offer a pairing of humor and criticism to present the abstract and concrete ways do people face day to day boundaries.

Jean-Marc Nahas, who through a subtle self-portrait, depicts human suffering and the tragedies experienced through conflicts. Ryan Eids who brings you nostalgic interpretations of childhood memories and innocence.

Eid therefore aims to show the feelings that people experience on a daily basis.

Jean Robert Alcindor renders humanist figures who, faced with barriers, confront borders.

AM Shar, an artistic duo who, through their cut-out cartographies, offer a journey through time and urban spaces allowing spectators to reinvent these familiar and unknown spaces.
