Beyond Borders is a project born around the artistic exchange between France and Lebanon by questioning the notion of territory. “Beyond Borders” aims to facilitate access to authentic, committed art without borders by offering this exhibition in several countries, between Europe and the East.

The Paris-Beirut project was born from a collaboration between Roxanne Hemery, curator at the Yellow Cube Gallery, and Simon Mhanna, director of LT Gallery in Beirut. The goal is to bring together artists from different horizons around the same theme: the territory.

The first act of this exhibition includes works by Valérie Evrard, Shawki Youssef and Emmanuel Mousset. In these works, the artists explore the theme of the human body like a map; a marker for the spaces that a person goes through in their life.
