VALÉRIE EVRARD
At the same time as studying Philosophy, Valérie Evrard is passionate about Art and especially painting. This led him to attend evening classes at the Superior School of Applied Arts Duperré, and the Fine Arts workshops.
Valérie Evrard then discovered all the old and new graphic techniques, including photography. Thus, the image becomes its medium, its language and will never leave it, allowing it to reappropriate the world. Photography punctuates his daily life, whether through film, digital, polaroid, old techniques, camera shooting in medium or large format.
Like a gleaner, Valérie Evrard likes to gaze at the world around her, to focus on what we no longer see, what we do not see, to grasp the poetry of everyday life. For her, the image is trace, material and language.
Valérie Evrard has received numerous awards for her work: she received the Iso 600 Polaroid Milan Prize in Monte Isola in 2013, the Instant Poetic Prize Trevigliopoesia in 2012 (6th edition). Most recently, she was nominated for the Photography Award in the Professional Fine Art category. For 4 years now, she has been working at the Musée d'Orsay around the project "Become a photographer".
In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.
