"Beyond Borders" is a project that has been developed to explore the relationship between maps, borders and territories through visualizations of Lebanese and French artists.

"Beyond Borders" aims to facilitate access to authentic and borderless art by offering a visual journey across distances and political boundaries, and in the face of social hardships and personal growth, through a variety of mediums and aesthetic considerations.

"Beyond Borders" is not only an exhibition, but also a journey around the artistic exchange between France and Lebanon by questioning the notion of territory.

This festival, consisting as its name suggests in a “celebration of visual artists from Europe to the Middle East”, will take place in January and February 2021. The exhibition program is sequenced in several acts - always around this Franco-Lebanese artistic culture -, whose second act highlights works by Fatima Mortada, Annie Kurkdjian and and Mansour El Habr and the duo AM Shar.
